Our restaurant is open twice daily (12-2pm & 6:30-8:30pm) Monday - Saturday

Sunday we serve a traditional Sunday lunch from 12 -2.30pm (no evening service) all freshly prepared and when we say it's home made it is. No gimmicks, no carvery, no 2 for £10 just a great quality meal.

We don't employ microwave technicians and we don't have a menu running to 40 items!

What we do have is a carefully selected set of dishes made from the best locally sourced produce. We try not to mess about with it too much letting the food speak for itself.

Thou shall create a friendly and inviting atmosphere within a traditional 18^th century inn.
Thou shalt not serve battery acid disguised as wine.
Thou shall support local suppliers and brewers of real ale.
Thou shalt not keep Sunday Lunch under hot lamps for hours.
Thou shall serve Sunday Lunch fresh and only at lunch time.
